Stephanie Schauer

General Manager

Stephanie Schauer brings over 10 years of experience in optimizing company operations to Flores & Foley. Her expertise in talent acquisition, software integration, and profitability improvement has made her a valuable addition to the team. She has spearheaded initiatives that streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and reduce operational costs.

Stephanie is driven by innovative thinking and a passion for intercultural learning and architecture. She has traveled extensively, visiting historical sites such as Chichen Itza, Petra, and the Great Pyramid of Giza. When not working or traveling, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and caring for her beloved pets.

Rene Flores Jr.

Special Projects Manager

Rene Jr. plays an integral role in the Flores & Foley Roofing team, bringing a thoughtful and strategic approach to the business. A graduate of NC State with a degree in Business Administration, he has contributed to the growth of several ventures, applying his business acumen to drive success.

In addition to his work at Flores & Foley, Rene Jr. proudly serves in the Army National Guard, balancing his civilian responsibilities with military service. His dedication to helping others extends beyond the workplace, as he finds fulfillment in both serving his community and his country.

Emily Schaeffer

Executive Assistant

Emily Schaeffer joined Flores & Foley in 2019 after graduating from UNCW with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has taken on a variety of administrative roles, becoming a key contributor to improving workflows, processes, and procedures that enhance daily operations. Emily’s collaborative approach and passion for helping others make her a valued member of the team.

In her free time, Emily enjoys baking, often bringing her famous treats, such as chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin bars, to the office. She also loves spending time with her golden retriever, Ru, whether napping, visiting the dog park, or making new friends.

Bernette Stanley

Accounts Payable Specialist

Bernette Stanley has been a valued team member at Flores & Foley since 2020, contributing over 23 years of financial experience. Specializing in budget management and financial reporting, she holds herself to a high standard, ensuring excellence in her work while delivering exceptional customer service.

Outside of work, Bernette is deeply spiritual and enjoys volunteering and caring for loved ones. She also finds joy in spending time with friends. Her approach to work is guided by her faith, as she believes that her values and work ethic reflect the God she serves.

Annie LaFave

Estimating & Purchasing Manager

Annie LaFave began her professional journey in the classroom, where she earned a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction and spent six years teaching. In 2019, her passion for problem-solving and community led her to transition to Flores & Foley, where she specializes in drafting and estimating for both commercial and residential projects. Annie brings valuable lessons from her teaching background, such as clear communication and patience, to her current role as Estimating & Purchasing Manager. She is proficient in various roofing software, and takes pride in custom drafting metal roofing systems tailored to each client’s needs.

Outside of work, Annie enjoys reading psychological thrillers, exploring clay art and sewing, and relaxing through swimming. Whether playing pickleball or indulging in sushi, she treasures spending time with her family and is always ready to engage in great conversations, be it about books, crafts, or roofing techniques.

David LaFave

Drafter

David LaFave transitioned from a career as a middle school teacher to join the Flores & Foley team in February 2022. With a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, David has quickly adapted his skills to the world of drafting and estimating. He specializes in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), creating three-dimensional roof models and contributing to design planning with a problem-solving mindset.

David is motivated by his desire to find practical solutions, and after work, nothing makes him happier than spending time with his two sons.

Justin Dixon

Commercial Sales Manager

Justin Dixon is a new addition to the Flores and Foley team, bringing with him over a decade of roofing sales and project management experience. Justin has a passion for leading teams that are driven by high standards.He is a Baltimore, MD native who began his roofing career in New Jersey.While living in New Jersey he successfully led numerous projects in the commercial and residential sectors throughout the tri-state area.Justin and his family moved to Hampstead, NC in December 2023 to enjoy Coastal Carolina living year-round after taking their summer vacation there a few months prior.The entire family loves the area and have all quickly assimilated to the charm of living in CoastalCarolina.Justin’s niche is delivering in the commercial roofing sector.He thrives in finding solutions to client’s problems to ensure their properties and the community continue to thrive.

Kevin Cook

Senior Sales Associate

Kevin Cook has over 30 years of experience in the roofing industry, working in various roles from sales to estimating. He joined Flores & Foley in 2015 and is consistently recognized as a sales leader. Kevin holds certifications from GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed, and continually expands his knowledge through continuing education.

Outside of work, Kevin is a passionate outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking, and disc golf. His Christian faith motivates him in both his personal and professional life, and his favorite Bible verse is, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul?”

Gaylord Racca

Senior Sales Associate

With over two decades of experience at Flores & Foley, Gaylord Racca has risen through the ranks, starting as a Field Technician in 2004 and becoming a Senior Sales Associate in 2018. His extensive roofing knowledge spans both commercial and residential roofing projects, making him the go-to person for all things roofing.

Originally from O’ahu, Hawaii, Gaylord enjoys fishing with a simple bobber and bait. He is the proud father of three children and recently welcomed his first grandchild in March 2024.

Jill Rhoad

Sales Coordinator

Jill Rhoad brings 21 years of experience in managing residential housing and homeowners’ associations to Flores & Foley. She excels in maintaining relationships, staying calm in crisis, and offering exceptional customer service. Jill’s strong communication skills and positive problem-solving attitude make her an integral part of the team.

In her personal time, Jill enjoys long walks, snuggling with her family and pets, and listening to music across a wide range of genres.

Miguel Bermudez

Project Manager

Miguel Bermudez is a seasoned professional with over 13 years of experience in the roofing and construction industry. He has gained extensive hands-on expertise in production management, team training, and ensuring seamless project execution. Miguel takes great pride in delivering high-quality work, building strong teams, and creating a positive and efficient work environment.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Miguel is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. They are his biggest motivation, driving him to work hard every day. He also has a passion for traveling, attending live sporting events in different cities/countries, and exploring new cuisines.

Kenneth Fitzgivens

Project Manager

Kenneth Fitzgivens has been with Flores & Foley since 2018 and has experience in several trades, including carpentry, painting, electrical work, and metal fabrication. With over 20 years in residential and commercial construction, Kenneth brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. His expertise lies in leading complex installation projects and troubleshooting construction challenges on-site. He holds an Associates Degree in Occupational Technologies and is committed to doing his best in all his endeavors.

Kenneth enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, serving as an Assistant Scout Master, and occasionally arriving on his motorcycle to make a little noise. He lives by the mantra, “A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.”

Ru Schaeffer

Ru joined the Flores & Foley team in 2022 as the official office greeter and part-time security guard. Known for her friendly demeanor, she loves welcoming customers and delivery drivers with one of her favorite toys in tow. Always ready for a treat, Ru’s favorite part of the day is seeing her coworkers and finding new ways to convince her mom for extra snacks. While she excels in attendance and brings a smile to everyone’s face, Ru is also known for sneaking naps and occasionally “borrowing” paper towels from the trash while on duty.

Kliff Flores Soriano

Kliff is a key part of the Flores & Foley family, bringing his infectious energy and loyal spirit to the team every day. At 3 years old, this German Shepherd has already earned his place as a beloved companion both at home and on the job. Whether greeting clients with his wagging tail or keeping morale high around the office, Kliff’s presence is always a source of joy.

Known for his intelligence and friendly demeanor, Kliff has become a favorite among colleagues and visitors alike. When he’s not brightening up the workspace, he enjoys outdoor adventures, playing fetch, and soaking up all the belly rubs he can get.
