Fortified

The FORTIFIED Roof™ system, developed by the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS), is designed to provide enhanced protection against severe weather conditions like high winds, heavy rain, and hail.

Flores & Foley installs FORTIFIED Roofs™ in Wilmington, NC and along the coastal region as an IBHS Certified Contractor specializing in storm-resistant roofing. Effective November 1, 2025, only Certified FORTIFIED Roof™ Contractors recognized by IBHS will be authorized to install FORTIFIED Roofs™. We work directly with an approved FORTIFIED™ Evaluator to document every step of the installation. Once the roof is complete, the Evaluator submits documentation to IBHS for review. Upon approval, the homeowner receives a 5-year FORTIFIED Roof™ designation certificate, with eligibility for renewal
